Work Parties
We will be putting some barley straw into the lake on Thursday as part of our ongoing maintenance. We are looking for volunteers to help with this task. If you are able to help please arrive on site from 8 am. Also if you intend to come please email [email protected] to let us know and we can ensure we have enough pies to go around!
AS ALWAYS WEAR APPROPRIATE STURDY CLOTHING AND FOOTWEAR.
BE UNDER NO ILLUSION OUR FISHERIES DO NOT MAINTAIN THEMSELVES AND HELP FROM YOU OUR MEMBERS IS NEEDED & WELCOMED. YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND AN ORGANISED WORK PARTY WE UNDERSTAND THAT, BUT PROVIDING YOU ARE NOT TREE FELLING OR DIGGING OUT RIVER BANKS THERE IS NOTHING TO STOP YOU FROM CARRYING OUT ANY MINOR MAINTENANCE JOBS DURING THE COURSE OF YOUR DAYS FISHING.
